If you are faced it with an obstacle, you have several options:
1.     You can go around it.
2.     You can ignore it.
3.     You can ignore it and pretend it’s not there
4.     You can turn around and go back the way you came.

Or you can prepare and gear up, get it by the grip and make it your comfort zone, till you move on to the next obstacle! You may not always get the better of it – but you might move on to the next with the feeling that you gave in your best!

And that is how we try to DEAL with Life too!!! Everyday!

Obstacle races are much like life! Even the most fun ones.

There is a reason they are called obstacles. Some of them will be simple and will give you confidence in your abilities. Some will scare you, test you, some will thrill you– Again – Just Like Life!
Just when you put in all your mental and physical energy to get by one obstacle, an obstacle race throws another one at you – Just Like Life!
It lets you rest, it does give you the time to get over the thrill and drill of the last one – Just Like Life!
If you are doing it for the first time – sign up but don't try too hard, take it easy. You don’t want to look at the very first obstacle and quit and sit back and go low on your motivation.

Why are obstacle races becoming so popular?

Fitness freaks around the world have embraced obstacle races like anything, but in India it’s still a novelty and there aren’t too many organisers who are ready to dive in a challenge of organising a good obstacle race because it does take high level of creativity, investment and risk taking ability. It’s much easier to go on organising half marathons.

The novelty and unpredictability factor is obstacle races is way higher that road running events. So give me a good obstacle racing course and I might just skip a running event for that month!

I twisted a quote by Woodrow Wilson – and this is my version - Let’s not forget that the only use of an obstacle is to overcome it. Whether you are weak or brave, frightened or not – the question is do you feel challenged enough? Because that’s one sure shot way of growing.

Much with this spirit, happy to notify you here about the upcoming Obstacle Race by Coach Ravinder events along with Jatin Arora’s stellar expertise in designing obstacles. In the outskrits of Gurgaon, right under the shadoew of the rock hard Aravallies, on a mud drenched terrain – natural fun obstacles are coming up.

► 5Km Solo Run, 6:00am start, 100 slots (Min age 14yrs, cutoff time limit 50mins)- 1200/-
► 5Km Team Run, 6:00am start, 50 slots [2 runners] (Min age 14yrs, cutoff time limit 50mins)- 1200/-
► 5Km Solo Run, 6:15am start, 100 slots (Min age 14yrs, cutoff time limit 50mins)- 1200/-
► 5Km Team Run, 6:15am start, 50 slots [2 runners] (Min age 14yrs, cutoff time limit 50mins)- 1200/-
► 1Km Kids Run, (7:00am start, Min age 10yrs- 14yrs, cutoff time limit 15mins)- 1000/-

Note- All the participants and Guardians (in case of minor participants) will sign a waiver form during expo. This is a tough run. The participant should be physically fit & mentally tough.
